Bee Ran January through December 2011
January's block for Linda, aka Stray Stitches. She sent out Amelia's Garden fabric and left the block choice up to us.
February's block for Ann. She requested this Arkansas Cross Roads block and sent out Make Life fabric.
March blocks for Tiffany. She sent this assortment of fabric and asked for Stars. Since she sent such a generous amount of fabric, I made 2 blocks.

It is called Courtyard Square and is block #90 of Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks.
May--Mollie sent out two pieces of purple and a pieces of white and asked us to choose our own block.
This Block is A Dandy from Modify Tradition.
June--Carolyn sent out 6 fat eighth pieces of fabric, said we could add whatever else we felt we needed, and told us to have fun! She did ask that we embroider our name or initials and where we live some where on the block. The block is called Patched Geese, and is #300 in Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks, volume 3.
July--Wendy sent out layer cake squares for this star block.

November-- My month. This is my sample block.
December-- Marta sent out white solid and two prints: one red with white polka dots and the other a pretty poinsettia print.
Bee Unique. . . Bee Knotty Blocks
Bee began April 2011 and ended April 2012
April block for Vickie.
She asked us to fussy cut and frame the bird on half the block, and the rest of the block to be traditionally pieced. The pieced section of the block is from Quiltmaker's 100 blocks. It is #65 Tulip Twist.
May block for Jen. Jen sent out a large white square and a bit of tree bark fabric. She asked us to create mosiac trees. It was quite a unique adventure! Her finished quilt will really be something special.
June's block for Joan. She sent out Christmas fabric and told us to have fun. I made Framed Funky Flakes.
