DAUGHTER'S City Sampler

Over the last couple weeks I've helped my daughter sew up all 100 of her Tula Pink's City Sampler into a quilt top and I thought you might enjoy having a peek!

DAUGHTER used a couple bundles of Kona solids and combined it with Pepper Kona for the sashing and borders.  I think she made a really great choice with the Pepper.  The combination really makes her brights and pastels POP!

Hope your day is filled with color, too!
Happy Stitching!

You are right that background really makes the blocks shine. I love the combination.

what a beauty, loving the dark sashing, think dark really makes the colours pop, she must be delighted with this. I plan to make another one of these one day, my first attempt I did using random fabrics and then made it up into 3 small quilts now want a big one.
