Summer Sewing on the Farm

When our kids were small it was one crazy season!  Busy busy busy!  Once we hit the empty nest stage summers were long and quiet.  Now that we've moved to Texas summer has become a busy season again.  My beautiful sewing machine and I haven't had much time together lately, but I've been able to spend more time with my family, so I'm not about to complain!!

DAUGHTER and I did spend some sewing time together a couple weeks ago, and we spent the day on the Farm!  Making Farm Girl Vintage blocks continues to delight us.

DAUGHTER is using Hi Dee Ho from Me & My Sister for her blocks.

Here is Apron Strings.  DAUGHTER didn't love this block as it was designed, so she went her own way with it.

Next up is Crops.  This one just kills me with cuteness!

Postage Stamp.  Can you tell my DAUGHTER is a librarian?  All the colors in orderly rows!

Lastly there is Sunday Morning.  This is another block where DAUGHTER put her own stamp on it.  I just LOVE the stripes in this one.

My blocks are made with a mashup of Pie Making Day and Mimosa.
Here's my Apron Strings.

Crops.  I just love this block!  So cute and fun to make.

Postage Stamp.  It was fun to sort through the scraps for this one.

Sunday Morning.

That's life on the Farm Girl Vintage Farm this month!  We are already looking forward to the next batch!

Happy Summer Stitching!
