Right now anyway......
I've been plugging away in my sewing room, making these units.
And making a big mess, because foundation paper piecing is a messy business.
They aren't much to look at right now. In fact, they look kinda boring.
When you put them together, it is like magic!
28 down, 71 to go, and I'll have a Prism Quilt!
(Not the final layout! I just tossed the blocks out on the dining room table to get an idea of how it will look eventually.)
The Prism Quilt Along is pretty much finished, except for the stragglers like me.
Click here to see my original post about this quilt, if you'd like to learn more about it, or see my fabric stack before the chopping began.
If you have ever wanted to try paper piecing, this is a very beginner friendly pattern. Once you get in the groove with it, it goes fairly quickly. At this point I find that it takes me about 90 minutes to get 12 units done from start to final trim.
Have a great weekend!
