This is my latest installment of Farmer's Wife Blocks. We are a little behind schedule since I keep going out of town, so I'm hoping we can catch up a little in a few more weeks. Often wish I could use my sewing machine in the car, considering how much time I spend in it!
This time I chose # 70 Prairie Queen. I like this one, but it does have a small hiccup, as you can see. Decided to leave it though, because I didn't notice until I took the photo and now I'm too lazy to go back and take it apart since it is only off by a couple threads!
# 55 Linoleum was the second block I chose. I love that strawberry print! I'll be so sad when it is all gone, and my fat quarter is getting very small.... =(
My Farmer's Wife Buddy, Leslie, chose great blocks for this set!
She chose # 85 Square Dance. Enjoyed making this one so much. I have that large dot in several colors, but it is just too large for most of these small blocks. I was really excited to find a place I could use it sucessfully.
Leslie also chose # 86 Squash Blossom. I had a few qualms about making this block, but it just went together so nicely, and I really love it! I guess I was on a strawberry kick this week, because here is that print again on a black background. My black piece is even smaller than the blue one! Oh, so sad when strawberry season is over, both the fruit and the fabric!
That's it for now! Have I mentioned lately how much I love these little blocks? They really make this quilter's heart sing!
Happy Stitching!

Beautiful blocks. I'm almost inspired to get back to my "Farmer's Wife" blocks. I could not find the "hiccup." They are all lovely blocks.
I think your blocks should come to live at my house. I love them! They would go perfectly with mine. And I looked very carefully = no hiccup in my perception
They make my heart sing too! Love all the lovely bright happy colours. Hugs
