Before I burned my poor hand I finished up four Farmer's Wife Blocks, but I forgot to take photos and post them, so here they are.
My Farmer's Wife buddy Leslie chose #48 Homeward Bound
and #72 Railroad.
My choices this time were #23 Country Farm
and #49 Honeycomb. I was nervy about this one, but it was pretty easy!
I love these little blocks so much! Since I am sure now I'll stick with this quilt until it is finished it was time to pick up the rest of the fabric. It is already getting scarce, and I can't imagine how hard it will be to find when the quilt is finally finished. The floral will be the borders. The black with the white ring dots will be setting triangles and the white on white dot is for the sashing strips. I don't love that white on white, so I'll keep my eyes open for something else. Still need to pick out something for corner stones, but I keep changing my mind! The stripe will be for binding. I love it! It is hard to see in the photo, but there is a tiny ric-rac squiggle where the white and black stripes meet.
So how will you be spending your Leap Day?
I'm getting new tires for my car and planning to spend it with my sewing machine!

I love them all, but the one with the orange is my favorite. =) Have fun today...I'm going to Orientation.
Fab blocks Staci
So far have at last packed away the Christmas Decorations (shameful I know) and emailed, read blogs and commented ! Quite shocking!
Your blocks are beautiful! You have a great eye for putting together your fabrics!
I LOVE the fabrics you've chosen for the borders, binding, and setting triangles. I haven't thought that far ahead, but perhaps I should, since I'm using fq's for my blocks. Keep up the good work.
Beautiful Staci!!! I am heading to ceramic's.
Wonderful fabric! Your blocks just sing, beautiful.
Great blocks! My Honeycomb block made me want to pull my hair out. Yours looks great!
Oh your fabric selections are dynamite. Can't wait to see this one done. I bought the book and plan to start my own.
Leap day? Working on finalizing my latest pattern and getting ready to go to a show in Florida tomorrow. Happy Leap Day to you!
very pretty work
Just one more line of fabric I regret not stocking up on! It caught my eye when I first saw it and I never picked it up. :( Your blocks are just stunning in those fabrics!
No sewing for me today. It's chicken coop cleaning day!
